Before a partner show enters the station, capture the basics: show name, contact person, permission status, approved use, expiration date if any, preferred credit, website, and source files or RSS feed.
Audio should be reviewed for fit, normalized where possible, and labeled with clean metadata. Good titles and descriptions make the station easier to archive, search, and promote later.
A small rights spreadsheet is enough for the first phase. The important part is consistency: every file in rotation should connect back to a permission record.
